What Does Giclée (zhee-KLAY) Mean?
A true giclée print is an archival-quality print created using a professional inkjet printer with highly permanent inks and an exceptionally wide color range. The word “giclée” comes from the French words gicleur (“nozzle”) and gicler (“to spray”), a reference to the way inkjet printers spray ink onto paper.
Every one of our prints is produced in-house by the artist using our top-of-the-line Epson SureColor P5370 fine art printer. With 10 archival pigment ink colors, it’s capable of reproducing an incredible range of hues, tones, and subtle detail with exceptional longevity.
